I wont even try to backtrack the last month or so. I'll just say that we had a great housewarming/spring/birthday party yesterday. Paella with many local ingredients: rainbow trout, wild turkey, organic pork, and homegrown tomatoes. Not local: saffron, all the seafood, and most everything else....but it was good.
After the party we loaded Blaise's trailer with 1000 pounds of barley that we grew last summer. He'll be feeding it to his hogs this summer and we'll receive 45 pounds of Organinc pork out of the deal. Fair and square. And delicious.
